mummychia, so we will go back to the same spot for the return trip?

I am so excited heee. 3 full days in Jeju which I have reserved a taxi tour for 2 days. Still not too sure what i can do F&E for the last day. my girl is terrified about the thought on going on submarine as she is worried to run into a whale.

For seoul, I have planned a day to Lotte World then this. I still have 3 more days of itinerary to plan heee.

Oh we are taking Korean Air, staying in Tae Gong Gak in Jeju and Metro in Seoul. Manage to nail down the accomodation as recommended!

May I know how did you travel to Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm? Is the latter like our Gardens by the bay? hee

and then how do you find Pororo Park?

Thanks a lot for your advice!!

I also stayed in metro hotel πŸ˜„ my last trip was 9 days but still can't squeeze in jeju. 3 days is just nice.
Actually my kids enjoyed more rides in Lotte than everland, maybe everland is too big & time is limited.

Pororo park, I don't think it's worth it coz its not cheap for a 2hrs play time but my kids enjoyed very much esp my younger boy. Being kids, i guess anything with their favourite cartoon character is nice! It's a small indoor playground & I feel it's more for toddlers. They do have workshops but it's in korean. But I think if u go both lotte & pororo pk on the same day there's discount on the admission fee. I didn't go on the same day coz not enough time. Btw both are in the same complex.

I have not been to gardens by the bay so can't compare. It's autumn when I'm there in nov so actually went nami & garden of the morning calm to catch the autumn foliage. But now in winter the lightings in the garden is awesome!! May add in my itineary for my year end trip πŸ˜‚

I took their itx high speed train to cheongpyeong then local bus to morning calm garden. From there I took the gapyeong circle tour bus to nami wharf then ferry to nami island.

I intend to stay metro again for my dec trip. Its a small boutique hotel but good value for $$ & its location. There's a laundry room on the 7th floor which u can use too, cheap & good! πŸ˜„

yes i know alittle korean, took up basic course sometime ago so I can read & write but can only speak minimal. anyway dont worry abt language problem, i didnt speak much korean during my trip coz most of them i met know alittle english and there's lots of tourist centre around esp in town area & all speak english & chinese.

I also dont like packaged tour since my kids are still young, i need the flexibility. If u renting phone, then make use of their travel help line, so dont worry so much, relax & have a good time :boogie:

I found a taxi driver who is able to drive us to Everland and back at 120,000 Won. he is willing to pick us up late at night.

Wonder if it is worth it πŸ˜›

but of course very expensive compared to other choices...

Mummychia, pardon me for asking. When I check on Everland website, most of the days they closed at 6pm. Opening hour is 10am.

                  The latest is 8pm only.

Do you know which day is the fireworks? I cannot seem to find the ifnormation on their website.

wow thats very ex if go by taxi. how abt taking taxi to the nearest train station then from there take subway back? but may be tiring to transfer train after a day of playing.

Now its winter so the park close quite early coz its outdoor so its very cold. U may have to check again for the opening/ closing time nearer to date. But i remember reading somewhere that the fireworks start ard 8pm

Fireworks at 8pm is late. Bear in mind winter gets dark at abt 5.30 pm. It will be very cold by the time it’s 8. Think more possible to stay longer in summer. It may be cold in march too.

Oh yes I don't mean fireworks at 8pm during winter, probably during spring or summer πŸ˜„
