Mm well yeah, ive talked to the teachers, but ofcourse they’ll defend their own cca, not a single individual, in a way NCC have it worse than us so they think we should be able to tolerate with it since i’m the one who chose UG. Btws it was alright before the merge, the pushups only started after 😕

yeah but being scolded for such frivolous bagatelle just makes me so indignant…

May I know which CCA you are in. You mentioned that it was merged - but what were merged. Hope you can enlighten me. Thanks.

Recently, my DD came back from school and told me that some of her classmates’ parents are gossiping negatively about her and another girl among parents. She did not know the exact details, but suspected that probably someone who did not like them told the parents about them…and the ball started rolling.

I am really saddened by this and disgusted by the behavior of these parents.
It is already a great challenge for the kids to transit from Primary School to Secondary School. As parents, we should support and be understanding towards all of them, and not make judgement based on what we hear without even knowing the kids personally. Worst, influencing others to think the same:(

              Oh dear!

Have you considered bringing up to the teacher or even principal? Such things should not be allowed to perpetuate, especially if it is based on hearsay and falsehood. Things like that can make the affected student(s) drag going to school and may affect her studies.

I am actually thinking about how to handle this situation because I do not know who are the parents involved. Probably will monitor the situation for the time being, and see if she can get me more info before I approach anyone..

I understand that the school's discipline is pretty strict. Even if you don't get the info about who are the gossiping parents involved, you may consider bringing up to the discipline master? Perhaps, he can make a general speech to the whole school (or that particular class) without needing to pinpoint anyone. Those who go round gossiping should know that they will be taken notice of if they don't stop all these nonsense. This could be a deterrent.

Thanks, kwcllf. This is a good suggestion.

24hr-mum, I realise both of us are considering the same schools .. haha..
My gf whose daughter is studying there said the school is very strict in discipline, but BGR is still inevitable.
