      spacer:

      also ordered the 2011 version

Is there difference betwee what is available in the market and school selling? My DS said his teacher told him 'GEP version? 🤷

i know that there is a 2012 edition but since spacer ordered the 2011 version, i did likewise.

So far DS Sch didn’t ask them to buy any book. They are learning parts of speech now.

Eh…I thought we were told at the briefing that the GEP curriculum is the same throughout all the GEP centres. If so, why schools r using different materials?

Definitely using different materials. The booklists from the 3 schools I checked out during the briefing were all diff. I too had assumed that all centers would be using the same books since they said that all centres would be doing same syllabus. Oh well... Maybe they just meant same skills taught but schools will have autonomy to decide how they want to teach it. 🤷

I believe for txt ok they hv autonomy but teacher did inform DS that they will not complete the book as GEP materials will be use。in this case, GEP material will be standard.

Yes, was asked to sign up online.

It actually depends on whether your child has good time management. In DS's school, it needs to be approved by the teacher.

DS already chosen n given the CCA. CLA, IRS n CEP will all start next week. He’s already been given the Social Studies project instructions n datelines n also ERP n Science reading list. Looks like it’s going to be full gear soon after 1 wk of games n grp work.

                      What about the rest?

May I know wat is CLA and CEP? These acronymns are not familiar to me.
