What is it with women that showed up in court to defend their cheating husbands? It is like condoning the husband’s behaviour. It is bad example.

Speaking as a wife, I am totally with you on this! What's the point to disgrace? Be it unethical or criminal act, I will call my divorce lawyer the first thing.

        But, different family different discretion.

That's what she claimed...on the couch in his office.

Her friends said she had it with many people before that… :?

the lecturer could be able to tell rite....?[/quote]It’s better for him to say they love each other than he’s really corrupted.

I feel embarrassed for these women. Their faces are all over the media because their husband cheated them. Why must they accompany their husband to court or public function? The least they can do to preserve their self worth is not to accompany their husband to court or public function for the time being. Why can't they be allowed to show their anger for a while? The public understands. The husbands are also so selfish by allowing/forcing their wives to accompany them to the court or public function. I hope Tey's wife won't appear in court to support her husband.

When husbands stray in exchange for favours, they are still engaged in EMAs...why should the wives show their faces ? When the husbands were having a good time with other women, did they think of their wives ? So why should their women stand by them in court ???

is it her best friend or NUS law classmate report the case to mata ?

Didn't somebody oredi reported dat not just DK n TTH, but a few other students n faculty members were also called up to lim-kopi?

Sex charge an academic persecution of law professor?

Even if his book did anger people up there, they can't possibly force him to have sex with his students so as to get him charged.

That is a very good point, and it drives the nail into the coffin of any attempt to transform this into a conspiracy theory. This is not the Anwar case where it is the complainant's word against the accused. Both parties agreed that intercourse has transpired. The most the theorists can do is to say that DK is a mole planted as bait, but it even so, the accused fell for it, which directly led to the present charges of corruption and lapse in code of ethics.

Similarity between NBG’s case is that both cases, sex is said to be the form of gratification received.

Difference is that NBG already involved with CS even before he became Dir CNB to sign off that IT project that was started by his predecessor. Tey started a relationship with his student when they are both teaching and studying in NUS.

Corruption? I would say that Tey’s case is more straightforward to prove.
