I recall faintly that kids names/photos and birthday/months are pasted on a paper in front of the classroom when DS1 was in P1. But otherwise, how can we see the birthday months of others?

It was an observation that my dd1 made. Was wondering if any kids make similar observation about their classmates 😄

For birthday, are we allow to bring cake or goody bags to give classmates? last year ds said school did not allow. But was guessing probably he did not ask and no friends celebrate in school.

Chk with the FT. dd1's FT was ok with goody bag. I didn't ask abt cake becos I find that a bit troublesome 😉

dd1 was contented with celebrating bday in class by giving out goody bags 😄

Ummm, I guess this all up to individual.

Since Ds1 started primary school, I don’t recollect him bringing home any goody bags, although there may be stuff like paperclips or pencils other pp gave him.

On me, I don’t intend to celebrate (actually I didn’t even consider) my kids’ birthday in school - no cakes, no bags. It’s just me. Anyway, my kids don’t mind also - at least this what they tell me.

Query for P3 (L & P) parents. Anyone knows if they started on charlotte’s web? I don’t think DS had ever packed this into his bag but I don’t recall him saying they started on this book. Also, I’m fairly sure the recorder is still in my house somewhere.

Quite strange to buy stuff that the school don’t seem to be using. But I’m probably hasty.

One thing I’m quite sure the school don’t use is the MRL pack. I recall having to buy it for P1 (for DS1) but ended up the file was sitting nice and pretty. Wonder why we have to buy in the first place.

I realised that I have the P1 MRL file when I was tidying up :rotflmao:

I guess I can either use it for ds or I use it with the kids heehee

Didn't do it for P1 but this yr dd1 requested it. Maybe it's a girl thing. Heehee

Likely. Both my boys bochup bohiew about these kind of things. Sure they enjoy a party, but I think they are more concerned about what they can request from us. 😛

On the 2nd sentence, I think if I had to go ask them about their classmate's birthday; I will likely still have no clue come year end. Yet another boy thing.
