I keep the list at home and bought her a small booklet. Every week I need to transfer those words that she need to learn in that small booklet. Have to think of contingencies for every single things. It is much tougher for parents in the newer generation. :rahrah:

I usually photocopy 1 more set of spelling &听写 list,1 to be kept at home and 1 to bring to school.I did that to both my kids.

            Received their chinese spelling yesterday.

The teacher staple at the back of the chinese textbook.

Probably you can get them a plastic folder for them to put all those paper teacher gave each day.

For my DD, her school gave them another folder that indicate ’ Letters for Parents’.

So everything, i will check through 2 plastic folder (1 from the school & the other our own). Also guide them have a habit to write in their handbook.

DD also don’t have much homework yet. Spelling list was given last week. she’s a bit bored at school. complaining that they are doing phonics again and numbers 1-10. sigh… i knew this will happen. i just tell her the teacher is just reviewing them. so far she’s still enjoying school especially recess. hahaha.

DD also have a plastic folder in her bag. she first used it to put her classroom art and her first chinese list to memorize. now she puts all the letters and memos from school in there too. she already left her handbook at school y’day. im also tired of reminding her to keep track of her things… but still have to…

my boy complained why he write so nicely only get a B.

why he put up his hand, teacher no call him to answer questions - then he cannot collect tokens to exchange for stamps to exchange for gifts.
he said want to go play catching with friends before his class starts. i said hot sun, he may sweat, smelling and sticky, he said won't. 😓
he said after finish sch work and waiting for other people to finish work, cannot read because unless teacher say read, then can read. so he will chat softly with his partner 😓
