Hi my girl is in P3 Daisy this year too :rahrah:jukids:
My girl is in p3 this year n just got assigned her new class. Anyone's daughter in p3 daisy?
my daughter is in p3 ixora...for chinese, she will be in daisy. -
My daughter is in C5 for her Chinese class.
We were not settled into school  although the 听写/默写 list was given earlier. She flunked it...my fault. But told her no more failing again.
That 默写 is a new thing for my daughter...it is actually part of a 作文...really got 墨水,蓝蓝的天空. Reminds me of my son's time in P3.
Have to push this girl in her languages. -
My son also got the words \"contagious disease\" in his spelling at P3. It's ok to expose them to big words lah... mission schools are known for inculcating good English from young.

yes I agree and English is the way to go quite frankly. Even in the U, your English has to be good to understand the whole picture.

I should have known better...convent schools are usually stronger in English. -
I joined 2 years ago but hardly log in…and i didnt know there is this thread!! its cool! My gal is P2 this year and yes i m an ex IJ gal myself. Like what some of you have mentioned, we have a strong sense of belonging and it always feel so nice to be back home again. I always look forward going back to school for events.
So far no updates on CNY yet hor…looking at last year, I dont think there will be any early release and putting on CNY clothes. -

I have washed some new clothes for my kids.
My gal is in P3...there is this feeling of home when I see my princess in that blue pinafore. Daughter asked if I have another daughter, will she go to IJ?
:faint:
She is crazy over her newborn cousin. -
Hey, check with you gals, does IJ Toa Payoh offer Higher Chinese from P1 / P2? I know it is not SAP school but I know of some non-SAP schools offering Higher Chinese in lower primary.
-
I think they do for P2 as I can see from the booklist? I am not too sure.

-
Oh, then I think HCL is offered to P2s who scored Band 1 for CL in P1. Same as some non-SAP schools.
