      Laura02:

Just a quick check - do your P5 dc take public transport by themselves?

Mine yes, in fact when my dc at P3 I had already trained them to take public transport on their own for tuition. I have no external helpers. Many things cannot squeeze over weekend. So no choice.

I am not sure other boys. There was several times, my boy will be distracted by things like animal kaesar, video games, etc. He will tend to stop and watch.

Is there any device how to track the movement? really cannot trust my immature boy at this moment. Some people who have older boys advise me to tighten the string. Boys are distracted easily.

My boy started public transport only this year on condition that I know who he commutes with and I need that friend hp number. We sneaked to school and peep at him as we were free that day. He is quite reliable, but my main worries are perverts lurking around neighbourhood if any.

:scratchhead: So, smartmummy - your DS school started off with the theme \"CYCLE\" which covers REPRODUCTION -
                    1) Reproduction from parents to young
                    2) Reproduction in plants
                    3) Reproduction in humans

or you are telling us that your DS's school started off with 3) then teacher goes into the theme \"SYSTEMS\" which covers LIVING SYSTEMS -
                    1) The plant transport system
                    2) Air and the respiratory system
                    3) The human circulatory system
                    4) The unit of life

:imsorry: but am confused with your two posts above.

How is the workload for your P5? Dd is :imdrowning:, she has homework for all 3 subjects daily and of it, hmt is the most time consuming. Lots of writing and worksheets.

School has maths olympiad class conducted by external vendor but we decided to opt out. Maths is dd's weakest subject and she has neither the flair nor interest for it.
