Its definitely possible to take 4H2 in AJC. I did.

Although I'm not sure if 4H2 will be available for uncommon combinations.
Also, like most schools, AJC requires that you get a sufficiently low raw score before they allow you to take 4H2.

How low? Also, what is the average University Admission Score (UAS) for AJC? ACJC is 80.4 i think.

Hi everyone I'm new here :).

I submitted my JAE about a week ago, and have some queries regarding appealing, tia! I received a raw L1R5 of 6, nett 4 after bonus point deductions as I did not take HCL. I scored A1s for EL, MA, AM, Biology, Chemistry, E Lit, Combined Humanities, Chinese - do you think it is possible to appeal into RI? I live near Bishan so location wise it is definitely the most ideal :). However, I placed RI as my second choice and NJC as my first instead; I wanted to ensure I'd at least have a school to go to. Also, if this helps, my prelims were pretty ok but not perfect.
What are my chances....? Thanks in advance! M

In my year, you had to get a raw of 9 or 10 if i remember correctly.

However, I would imagine other schools would require about the same raw score

I think you stand a very good chance. There are quota for outstanding students who do not take HCL. Do have you appeal documents ready to submit when posting results are out. All the best.

If you wanted to appeal you should've put it as your first choice..
