Really heng suay.. depends on luck.. generally ppl will say philipno is better. My case happen to be opposite. Worst maid i have is philino.. the previous one brought man home. The new replacement too lazy and now wanna change employer cos of new rule. Now waiting for new maid.

I had tried both indon and fillip and prefers indon cos at least had two worked the longest with me. Sigh

My maid want to stay out on saturday night. Is it ok to let her stay out for full night. Is there any law about it that whether maid can stay out or not?

Did she say why?

She said she just want to be with her boyfriend. He doen't have much time during day. he works at weekend also.

Oh… Recently I heard my friend ask someone to choose a maid for her. This person require us to give him the Maid’s name etc and he will be able to tell her whether the maid is good.

Am trying out. There is a trial to use.
See how accurate is it

From my past experience, I had employed 2 Indonesians and 1 filipino helper. Our filipino helper work with us the longest but create the most trouble for us.

Apparently, thinking of trying out Myanmar Helper as understand from others that they are more down to earth. Since the population of Myanmar Helpers are not as much compare to Filipino and Indonesian therefore they won't spend most of their time at the void deck chitting with their \"friends\".

My bad experiences were with Indonesian maids. One worked 3 years but stole from us. Another did the \"I'm sick and laid in bed for days\" ploy to get us to send her home, I think she was afraid that I'd take back her increment cos completion of contract was part of the agreement for the increment. Both were under the age reported in the passport.

I liked Filipina maids for their pride in housekeeping. In the past, the Filipina maids gave me the least worries and did the best job. However, my current Filipina :slapshead: , being slow is one thing (which means I end up doing the rest ) but loves to talk back. If she is corrected, it is not because she forgot but always becoz I didn't tell her or is first time ( when it is not ). A small thing like how to cut the meat turns into a big discussion with her... Very tiring. Then if I give detailed instruction, she does not like it and says she already knows. :frustrated: Am still wondering how to manage the situation and keep my sanity with this one.

My relative's Myanmar maid sneaked out at night.

Getting a good maid nowadays requires a ton of luck.

Can I check whether your helpers take afternoon naps? As I am working during the day, I only found out my helper has this requirement when she stayed with my mil while we were away on vacation.
