Yes. My ds low 90s also in M2. And I think Maths banding only for the top 3 classes.

Looking at the moxie list, it does seem like the MT standard is pretty high…having a hard time trying to make him learn now…understand other classes have to learn the whole 6…

Actually it depends on the performance of the cohort. They just take the top 40 for M1. So if the top 40 means 91%, it will be 91%. If it is a draw, they will look at whole year result. My son said from P4 to P5 last year, the M1 cut-off point was only 89%.

P4 this year. Yah, could be a strong cohort, as last year p3 they set the record for most number of students to get through round 1 of GEP as well as into GEP.

For this yr's P2, shoud be based on \"holistic assessment\" [a series of mini-tests from T1-3] plus SA2. In terms of weightage, sch should be updating P2 parents in due time, hopefully soon, to avoid a repeat of last year's debacle.


Last yr, JRLam & I witnessed a very entertaining tennis match between P & (some) Ps.

The weightage should be indicated in student handbook, unless its changes again.

P2: 30%(HA in T2)+30%(HA in T3)+40%(SA2)

So term 1 can relax abit..
Then come term 2

I remembered last year Math TTLT provided 10 lessons of tranining for ACS mathlympics and a few lessons of tranining for all the students who have registered for the NUS NMOPS.
