      Hi Callie,

I tot P3 is adopting the CA and SA system, no more AA and MA. However, not sure about the percentage contribution.

I just wish that there is a briefing for P3 parents to clear doubts about CCA, HCL, exams etc, just like the one that we had in P1.

I hear say P3 is adopting CA and SA system... is there any PN on this?? Did I miss it out or the school hasn't inform us??? Or it is assumed that we should know?

I dont thk there isnt any PN yet.
I only got to know abt P3 having CA/SA from my DS's P2 FT at last yr's PTC.. she mentioned the kids have to \"adjust\" to the SA/CA system from P3 onwards.
Seems like the MA/AA for P1/P2 was only implemented these few years.

Not sure if there is any change but for our kids who have all along been under the CA/SA system, the weightage is:

        SA1 (May 2013) 30%
        CA (Aug 2013) 20%
        SA2 (Oct/Nov 2013) 50%.

There is a parents notice on the examination schedule, which is usually issued in Jan.

        Hi Freesias,

Oh is there a PN on examination schedule?? for P3s? I didn't get anything from my girl... will go back and ask her tonight. Let me try to to find the PN from the school website...

Yes, usually there is a PN on this at the beginning of the year. My kid in the upper level received the PN last Friday. The school is probably giving it out by level, starting with the upper levels, so don't worry if you have not gotten yours.

Hi P1 Parents, i heard end of last week, teachers from some classes have distributed a blue certificate informing that the child is top in Math / English. Was there already an assessment done to identify the high ability children? Do you know what is this? My son’s teacher did not mention about this in the weekly communication.
