You could consider baiyoke sky hotel, the morning breakfast is superb and its near to platinum , pretty safe too. ITS in the center of all shopping mall.
As for BTS, i would recommend novotel hotel as its nearer to BTS
You could actually cab everywhere as its super cheap .
And travel to safari zoo with ur kids , it will be fun. -
Wonderdad:
Going for a family trip to Bangkok.
Wifey wants to stay near to Platinum Fashion Wholesale Mall.
Considering this AirBnB apartment which is within the Shopping Mall itself:
https://www.airbnb.com.sg/rooms/769901
It's so much cheaper than staying in Novotel Platinum which is also in the same building.
Saw the reviews for the host quite good and there're quite a handful of singaporeans / malaysians who stayed there. Anyone with experience with AirBnB or this host before?
hi wonderdad
tis link n host seems to ve 'vanished'
i emailed my enquiries in Jan 2013, n she replied
nw i cant find her anywhere at all
did u stay in her apt eventualy

Hi hi,
I'm bringing my family to Bangkok this end Nov too for 6d5n stay. It's the kids' 2nd trip to Bangkok and we have stayed at both Novotel Platinum and Chatrium Riverside during our last trip.
I would like to stay in a hotel this Nov/Dec whereby there's a kids club in it. Thinking
putting kids in the kids club while the adults go shopping for half a day. Heard Anatara Riverside has a good kids club with lots of activities. I'm not interested in those child-minding kind...
Anyone knows any hotels that are near shopping areas and come with a kids club? Best if near Platinum mall  -
Which are some of the popular Bangkok spots to go to, aside from chatuchak and mbk?
-
Heard chatuchak is closed last week for Reno and not sure when will it be open…

I have the some concern with you, my family planing to travel during June school holiday with my two kids age (7&3) and I'm thinking to book deluxe room and request extra bed. Dunno the room is enough for four of us not.
Any advise???
