Fyi. I appealed on 22nd and receive good news on 24th. No written tests or interviews needed
:celebrate:
was your child's PSLE score very much higher than the COP of the sch? -
Hi,
I would like to take time to thanks everyone for the guidance and information on appealing. My girl is with RGS now and I am so glad. Thank you so much and really appreciate for all the accurate and timely advise especially after the school posting day with round the clock updating of COP.

Yes, my hubby's colleague's son appealed to Maris Stella on 22nd and was accepted on 23rd. Just submit forms and relevant papers only, no interviews, etc. Cut off pt for Maris Stella was 231, his son's agg. score is also 231 but was allocated the 2nd choice school at first.ooptimizer:
I think the appeal result not so fast come out yet.
It depends. Aware of some who already went for interview & been accepted. This is all I can share. -

My girll's score is also the COP of first choice and she didn't get it (ie guess missed by decimal). Appeal letter with teacher's testimonial was prepared and I have also spoken to VP. In the end, we were happy with the 2nd choice sch and didn't appeal. Though both are about same distance, 2nd choice sch takes shorter time due to feeder comes every 5 min. It has more stars than 1st choice sch. Uniform much nicer. In the end we made 2 trips to buy the things. -
My daugher scored 237 and a merit in HMT. She is posted to Clementi Town Secondary school. I have submitted an appeal to Crescent Girls and she has been called for an audition for chinese dance tomorrow. Does anyone knows whats the percentage of success ? I didnt particularly highlighted chinese dance as my daughter only took it as a cca for pri 1 and 2. However the school said they know and just want to see if she can do the basics....does it sound convincing? Help! :?:

Not Most, but certainly some schools will have, right?

I think SCGS is strong in dance too, but they've removed their DSA link as to the areas available for DSA.
Here's an article on dance for DSA:

You can also consider the School of the ARts. -
