Feasting or Weight Watching? what you r going 2 do this CNY?
-
Reunion dinners !
Office & Community celebrations !
Bak Kwa ! Love Letters ! Pineapple Tarts ! Kueh bangkit ! Nian Gao ! Kueh bahulu ! Prawn Rolls ! ......
What are you going to do this CNY?
to feast or to control?
or has the feasting started already  -
Definitely feasting beats famine!
I have a new strategy, hopefully won't end up in tragedy. :rotflmao: Past years, we hoarded the goodies and 'binged' over few days. This year, we started enjoying the goodies early. Fresher and spread out over the weeks. Only the reunion dinners and lunches will be the heavy weights. -
Feast of course!!!but in moderation wahahahaha
-
I have eaten quite a fair bit of pineapple tarts...simply sumptuous and irresistible   my mum has been giving me the 'control yourself' look when I reach for the container.
No weight watching...but slightly more than moderate. -
My family started early this year too - already finished 1 container each of pineapples tarts, peanut cookies and love letters. Everyday now, in the office, I have cookies/cakes to sample.

Feasting since x'mas.
But I think for myself not so jialat since I don't go for cookies and all the sweets.
I like yusheng, mandarin oranges and the rabbit fish. -

We usually just clean, rub some salt, dump a few slices of ginger on the fish and steam. Eat them dipped in either chilli chuka or a concoction of soybean sauce with minced garlic and chilli padi and lime. -

oh forget to mention that those I saw were frozen. Can that be steamed too or any other ways to cook? TIApacetone:
