      sashimi:
And remember our deal about being the Mommy and Wife from Heaven. And home-cooked food.

Ya, actually the best part about staying home is the nutritious home-cooked food.
Every since the maid took over the kitchen, the food is always... okay, but loads of room for improvemet
Though she has already followed my receipe and way of cooking.

DD1 has already enjoyed a bit of the home-cooked food. She's a tough one to cook for. One moment she will eat capsicums and the next moment, she will reject them, stating that she ate them the first time since she didn't want me to be sad. :stupid:

I remember cooking for sashimi when I was a SAHM back then and pregnant with DD1. That was a much easier job since I could try my hand at anything and get an honest feedback. My repertoire could also be more varied. Now, I have to be more creative with DD1 within a limited repertoire. (Or I could just \"threaten\" her with my mom's cooking.)

            MLR:
wah..... most of you met 'the one' so early in life. Me only met him in late 20s and somemore took so long to decide to settle down, so now son only 2.5 yo and me late 30s, DH over 40 liao.....

            .
yes..one of the advantages of meeting 'the one' early in life is that now, more than a decade later, we can laugh over the silly things we did when we were dating, like those ridiculous love letters, cycling around the neighbourhood (on a bicycle, with me sitting in front) as well as him piggyback me up Bukit Timah hill (of course this will followed by comments on how featherweight i was back then :P; i'll retort and comment on how fit he was back then ) !! 😐

Good and fast counter on the \"used-to-be-fit\" retort! :celebrate:

Wow, piggyback somemore, your DH was so romantic!
The time we spend together is always in classrooms or in his house.

                He's a indoors & house-guy.

Dear all. In the process of writing my suspense-filled intoxicating love
story of how we got there, unthinkable stuff has happened & crushed
me so badly i am still figuring out how to pick myself back up from
what i thought i had.... Or whether it would even be worth to pick it
back up. I will however find time to resume from where i left off, in
the hope that i might set my foot back on track and i'm hoping it will
                  be the right track..

                    Hiya buds,

1st thing I log in after my month long absence was to check into this thread on updates.
                    BUT....BUT..... 😢 😢 😢
still no updates on your love story 😢

Know you are recuperating lah, but can do like a small one.
Glad to know that you are well and recovering in bliss.
                    Miss you all

                        welcome back MLR...how was it?

                        Thanks, great to be home.
Well, the trip was great, but the flights were terrible. Doesn't help that the bomb scare during X'mas, definately make it tougher, all those additional security screenings were tiring.

We were kinda lucky to get out of Atlanta b4 the snow, or we will be stuck at the airport with all the flight delays.

I am just glad to be back to my own home/bed and back to routine as well. DS hasn't adjusted back and giving problems about going to cc every morning. Doesn't help that he was down with a terrible flu and stayed home the whole week. 😢

Just trying my best to get back on track with things.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL :celebrate:
