Aiyoh, I've also started eating CNY goodies.... Never done that before, before CNY! Hope \"snake\" year is not under the influence of the \"yao gui\" star...... 👅 already announced its presence by making us binge. 😆

Yes, 白肚鱼. CNY is usually spawning season for this species so they will be fill with roe and milt.

I already started feasting on CNY goodies but in moderation as I’m teaching. I can’t afford to have sore throat after CNY.

So far I only bought cranberry cookies, almond cookies and pineapple tarts. Was thinking of buying some more but not sure what to buy. Recommendations?

Do you know where can I get the steam pek tor hie's \"kee\"?(the bamboo strips woven steamer rack) Mine finally broke last night after many years 😢 . Couldn't find it at holland market this morning, the auntie told me to try Balestier, drove there to try my luck but the shop uncle said his shop doesn't carry it anymore cos nobody use the \"kee\" nowadays. :?

                    TIA.

                    Anyone knows please share, thanks.

Improvise? Use the dimsum bamboo baskets instead? Those I think you can find in some of those neighbourhood shops selling pots and pans. Or even phoon huat.
