Yes, problem types and bar models are similar. However, the problems in the Challenging Maths Problems Made Easy are of P5-P6 (PSLE prep) level, whereas the OnSponge books are graded from P3 onwards. So if you are starting in the middle of P5 (say) it would be more economical to just get the single book Challenging Maths Problems Made Easy.

Anybody used " Upper Primary Maths Model Methods, Techniques & Strategies" by Aden Gan, Eph?

Any good for P5 or are the methods outdated?
How is it compared with onsponge & challenging maths by Ammiel Wan?
