What I hate about the current Singapore

Thank you all for your opinions! Great advice indeed! Yes all schools in Singapore are good schools. Please don't misunderstand. This cooling measure is actually a blessing in disguise for many people.

MOE can TRY to make all schools good schools but we are definitely a long way from that ideal...

the obsession with popular schools will never end...for most parents.

MOE is TRYING to make new schools stand out with technology to entice parents.

if all schools are good schools, some parents will not rent units beside popular ones to get into those schools...i know of some couples who are willing to pay premium dollar to stay within 1km.

Many of us have a short fuse these days...and can be easily ignited by someone else's impatient act.

The reduce in personal space is the main cause of this!

drivers can't even wait a second...the moment traffic light turns green, they horn when car in front doesn't move...it's so easy to get into a fight if the driver behind is impatient.

every sunday, the narrow lane at my block with double yellow lines is ignored...drivers park all the way and cause even narrower lane...so what happens ? honk continuously...and my sunday morning peace is disrupted.
singapore is losing its graciousness.

3)Try to focus in parking n don’t look at them.man drivers like to shake their heads when i park my car.But sometx,realli difficult to park in btw two big MPVs,at miserable small carpark.

told hub that...drive slower and don't look at them when those impatient ones honk or overtake...sure to see their 3rd finger.

And I thought with the construction of the NE line, the Circle Line and DOwntown line, the crowd will be distibuted and the trains less congested. But end up they increas the immigrants and the train situation seems worse than before even with the increase in frequency.


With the BT line completing in 2015, I wonder how many more new immigrants we will be seeing.

got new line mah...so govt must make sure it is WELL UTILISED.
