Homemaking is indeed not easy, but it is a skill that can be learnt and refined.

I recently borrowed this book ‘The Home Experience’ by Devi Titus from the National Library. It teaches women about homemaking. It is quite a good read. I am re-reading sections of it after reading it once.

Too much ME time also feel very lethagic. This year both kids in morning session. My house suddenly so quiet. And I don't feel like doing anything at all, even feel lazy to go gym although I finally have the entire morning to myself.

Can't explain what's wrong with me. I think I'm beginning to suffer from empty nest syndrome in the morning

Then when they're both home in the afternoon, they quarrel non stop! Aiya, too extreme a swing :frustrated:

My job also doesn't require nice clothing but I try to dress well to make myself happy. I squeeze time to go shopping 😆

This year so busy…weekdays are gone, weekends also burnt…before I get to enjoy weekend, it is already Sunday. So can forget the idea of visiting them. I don’t even have a life now…so don’t need any problematic ones to make things more miserable.

If hubby wants to visit his parents, by all means go ahead. I need a happy drug now.

Vinegar, you must make time for yourself and be happy. Marriage and parenthood is a marathon, you need time to recover and recuperate.

This year, I find life so depressing...no life at all. Stuck at home all week bcos of housework. Can't go out bcos stores do not open till 11am and I have to be home before kids do. Weekends, tuition and getting homework done.

No chance to go out...even if I do, will end up in popular bookshop, supermarket or children's dept. :stupid:

i’m facing the same prob too…lots of ppl don’t understand the life of SAHM.They thought it is pretty easy.

If i am out in the morning,I also hv to rush home by 11am to get the lunch done,b4 picking up kids.Frds said i’ve poor time mgmt, but they don’t understand…coz they don’t cook n they’ve maids/mother/MIL to help out. I am totally alone.

Tried hire PT maids few times, but they can’t come early in morning n leave b4 i nid to be put to pick my kids.Nowadays,PT maid also give prob as FT maid.Encountered one China PRC PT maid who spit on basin after she has washed the basin.
