Sleepy!

Your girl so good in math, not selected for MO?
I thought she is learning advance math already?
So competitive ah
Many kids are super good in Maths. I guess there are more than enough to represent school.

I suspect teacher is reserving dd for Science Olympiad because not enough participants comparatively šŸ˜‰
In my dd's school, participation in MO training is by selection. All trainees r encouraged to participate in the competition.

Oh, has your dd tried NMOS in P4 ? I know some schools start to offer only in P5.

If I'm not wrong, NMOS is pitched at P5 level. Participation is registered thru school (only).
Both DS done it in P4, the school encouraged them to try.

RIPMWC will be on Mar 26. Special round will be on Apr 19 for the top 50.

Can we register individually instead thru the school?
My kid's school seems not inviting students to apply at all, that's why I am asking in the forum whether any Maths Olympiads registration has begun?
Any website link?

http://contests.heymath.com/admin/RI13

According to the above website, participants will take round 1 test in their own schools. You may want to contact them for more details. The contact details are at the bottom of the webpage.

If Olympiads fees are paid by parents, why the schools are choosing students. It should have an open invitation, whosoever wants to participate. Let students go to the test venue themselves. Easy job right? Does this affecting the school's name? I mean the school's name will be blacklisted if students are done badly?

Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC)
American Mathematics Competition (AMC 8/10/12)

No need to go through schools ... šŸ˜‰

If I am not wrong, the round 1 test is online. So, it depends on the number of computers each school has.
