Hey chief, noted your advice on reading this page first but still have a burning question… My address in ic is different from my husband’s. address in my daughter’s birtcert is mine but we are staying in my husband’s house which is our family home. what this means is, when it comes to getting my girl into primary school years down the road, we’ll want to use his address. How does moe deal with parents with different address when it comes to pri sch registration? If there are info on this available, i’ll appreciate very much if you could direct to the right place. Thanks so much.

A relative lives near Farrer Park and owns another property (leased out) near Scgs. He plans to send his daughter to Scgs using the leased property address. Is that allowed? The requirement is just ownership?

No. Not address of property owned but address where the family is or will be staying when the child starts school, the later applies to property being purchased or under construction. -
I’m currently renting a property while waiting for my new place to TOP in 2014.
If I register my child in School A using my new address under Phase 2C and if unsuccessful, can I then try with my current address in School B (under Phase 2C-S) using my current address? -

That's not a good idea. There would be a record of you applying using one address in one phase and then another of you using a different address in another phase. This will trigger red flags at MOE. I'm sure they are looking for some errant applicants to make an example of.I'm currently renting a property while waiting for my new place to TOP in 2014.

The rule is simple. Use the address that your child will most likely be staying at for the 6 years while he/she is in Primary School.
