Why is the use of \"forcing primary pupils to use model drawing solving method\" for maths BUT

when comes to secondary school, only to realise that \"No model drawing method is allowed\" to solve similar kinda of maths questions ??

Model drawing not allowed in sec school? I suspect it maybe more of a lack of opportunity to use model drawing. ๐Ÿ™‚

There is a conspiracy theory that the Model method is perpetuated for the sake of branding Singapore's Math-teaching methodology. Heard this from a school teacher ๐Ÿ˜„
-Justin
Not a surprise.....
So SG primary pupils have to support SG product lorr....no matter what..... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Don't play play. Maybe they even have an \"in-bike\" video camera to take a video of you and upload it to youtube ๐Ÿ˜‰

Curious - why, or how was Kiasuparents started? ๐Ÿ™‚

No offence - but do you think that parents here are over kiasu sometimes? ๐Ÿ™‚ I've never been a parent so I would not know, but sometimes I think it's scary the amount of work and/or enrichment a child has. I never had so many (and still grumble about what little I had). I never learnt dance nor do I have wonderful mental math or whatever it is, but I think I'm quite fine as I am ๐Ÿ™‚ And happy.

We went out with the kids yesterday. I was dead beat at the end of the day. Have you ever wondered where your kids get their energy from? They yakked non stop, dashed here and there, jumped up and down and canโ€™t sit still. Just looking at them makes me tired.

Ya boi. They live like there is no tomorrow. But sometimes I do want to be like them - living life to the fullest and seize the day!

Have you ever wondered how your parents childhood was like?

Have you ever wondered how your parents met each other & how is their love story like?
Have you ever wondered how your parents earned their living, where they had worked at & as?
Have you ever wondered how their marriage had been & are they still happy or miserable with each other?
Have you ever wondered what kind of regrets do they have right now?
Have you ever wondered why you start having such queries all of a sudden?

I guess I am feeling old.......
Is old age contagious?? I just came back from a Genting trip with my parents & met up with another 6 old aunt/uncles (mostly >60yo). Half of whom I have not met for >15 years. Looking at them, another ~15+ years & I'll be there..........
