Why not change him when u reach rainbow?
-
Double e…
Ya this will be my only choice
Mummy oat,
Pls pm me how can I get rainbow uniform from you ? -
helplessmum3:
Wearing uniform allows teachers to recognize the kids in the event they go missing if they wander out of the school premises.Mummies oat, y ur son leave rainbow ?
I feel they are so inflexible..
I'm touch u share so much w me..
The uniform is no only cost concern .. My son attend 315 rainbow class so if on uniform mean I have to change him b4 going to rainbow from current cc uniform n moreover current cc do not know my son conditions which I also told rainbow ..
Why are they making me so difficult ..
It also gives your son a sense of identity and cohesiveness with his friends in rainbow. Imagine all his friends wear uniform at work except him? He will feel single out.
Maybe ask Rainbow teachers to change him before he leaves the class if your concern is letting the current CC knows.
Sorry but I think its you making things difficult for yourself. Not rainbow making things difficult for you. Stop blaming rainbow. You shld show appreciation for special needs schools and teachers. -
Double E:
Not true. My son's EIPIC also needs to wear uniform.helplessmum3:
Mummies does yr eipic centre keep insisting to buy their school uniforms ??
It's another kind of expenses ..why they can't give a thought . It's just barely 2hrs n 3 times a week only ..
And it's not a school is a therapy centre , does u wear uniform to yr physio therapy ??!
I know Rainbow requires the kids to wear uniform but I don't think other EIPIC centres require that. Maybe because Rainbow is a school (special needs school), that's why they want the children to be in uniform. -
Nugget yr son is morning class at eipic ?
-
Nugget I definitely appreciate them just that… Hiaz I don’t know how to explain …not as well verse when come to discission…

Summer tan:
Any idea the waiting time to PL? I'm wondering when is the earliest I can put my son in the queue, just in case.
I was told at PL that the latest for an application to be put in is by the middle of the year for the child to start in the subsequent year. PL will conduct its own screening during the second half of each year to see if the child is suitable for enrolement. PL's official stance is that the waiting time is about 6 months to 1 year for placement in its P1 program.
But fellow parents on the ground tell me that the waiting time is longer and applications should be submitted earlier. So honestly, I am not too sure what is the actual situation. Rule of thumb is to have enough time to do your ground work to prepare for your child's enrolment whether in PL or mainstream.
One of the key items in this whole process is the IQ assessment that the child needs to undergo at about the age of 5.5 yo. Special schools like PL needs this IQ assessment report as part of its application documents. Mainstream schools would likely need this IQ assessment report too if you are going to inform the school about your child's special needs.
So do work out the timelines early enough so that you are not caught too stressed up when it comes to your child's school enrolment.
Hope this helps. -

Btw have you mummies met one another before? Ever thought of having a gathering together with our kid(s)?
Nope, too stressful. Kekeke. We won't have a chance to talk coz we will be busying looking at our kids! -

Yup he is in morning class on Mon, Wed, Fri.. They required him to wear uniform cos sometimes they will bring him to playground for gross motors. They also train him to buy things at super market.
Hence I think its better for them to wear uniform so its easier to recognize them in case they wander off.
He goes to CC in the afternoon (in his EIPIC uniform) where my CC is kind enough to keep aside a lunch for him. They will shower him then let him have lunch then proceed with nap.
