8 kg of Apples and 2 kg of Oranges cost $7 more than 3 kg of Apples and 6 kg of Oranges. What is the total cost of 2 kg of Apples and 3 kg of Oranges if 1 kg of Oranges costs $5?

eg. Pattern 5 --> 5 x 4 + 1 = 21
Pattern 10 --> 10 x 9 + 1 = 91

c) 2071 = 2070 + 1 = 46 x 45 + 1 --> pattern 46

Total --> 15 units + $380
15 units + $380 = $ 8600
1 unit --> $548

4 x $548 - $380 = $1812 -- Benny had $ 1812 more than Connie at first.

1/2 box of tomatoes (excl mass of box)--> 3 units
2/3 box of tomatoes (excl mass of box)--> 4 units

1 unit of tomatoes --> 38.75 kg - 32.625 kg = 6.125 kg

mass of box + 3 units of tomatoes --> 32.625 kg
mass of box --> 32.625 kg - 3 x 6.125 kg = 14.25 kg

dawn's share --> 1/4 total number of beads (dawn --> 1 unit, cindy+elaine --> 3 units, total --> 4 units)

1 - 3/8 - 1/4 = 3/8

Elaine's share --> 3/8 of total number of beads.
