      Kinderland is under crestar.

Well every center is different so maybe kinderland in serangoon has negative comments but kinderland in (maybe lets say- bishan) is good. It all depends on the principal and teachers of the center.

Iโ€™ve been to kinderland hougang. I like how they teach the children and i feel that the teachers ( for nursery and below) were really nice to the kids. Not nice as in let the kids take advantage but they are firm and the kids seem to really love the teachers and the school. However i find that they waste SO MUCH TIME walking around. I think they spend half their day walking around. After almost everything ( i think everything) they walk to the toilet and then walk back. Also there were 1 or 2 teachers that looked really unhappy. Not sure if itโ€™s just that day or what.

        Hi all

My daugther is currently 20 months. She is presently attending half day session at My First Skool. I have decided to switch her to another centre as she doesn't like the teacher, nor the school. Furthermore, my daughter was bitten very deeply by another kid in school and I could not accept the fact that no one in the childcare centre had seen what happen. Her form teacher gave lots of excuses which were illogical and ridiculous such as
        1) she claimed that my girl could have bitten herself (the bite was near to the elbow, she couldn't have possibly twisted her arm to bite herself)
        2) she did not hear my girl cry at all (the bite was very deep, how would she not cry? The teacher could most probably ignore her cries.)
        3) she saw the bite mark at around 9-10 am and only called me at 4pm (which she claimed was during the children's naptime but I knew the naptime ended at 3pm)
        4) she said that the bite was very bad - raw and red such that they have to use ice pack to reduce the swelling but she only informed me about it at 4pm. Shouldn't this require immediate attention?

Hence, I'm searching for another childcare in Serangoon which I hope would have more passionate/caring teachers. I've shortlisted a few centres and would like to seek feedback on the following:
        1) Masterpiece at Sommerville Walk
        2) Rosyth Childcare Centre at Grace Park
        3) Cherie Hearts Little Play House at Serangoon Garden Way
        4) Little Footies Schoolhouse at Mei Hwan Drive
        5) Treasure Box Child Development Centre at Parry Ave

Would greatly appreciate your feedback on these centres. I would also be glad if you could suggest other other childcare centres with caring/passionate teachers within the vicinity.
Sorry to hear about your child and yr bad experience. Have you already found a place for your child?

Blossom Discovery Centre at Lorong Chuan, is also in the Serangoon area. Have you visited this centre?

Iโ€™m was wondering if anyone knows of a principal for a childcare in serangoon by the name of Veron Law. I thought she was at Little Skool House but there is no LSH in serangoon. Can anyone help ?

any parents send kids to Lumiere Montessori preschool at 64, Wolskel road ? any feedback ? Thanks in advance!

I heard that Lumiere Montessori Preschool is not bad based on my friend's feedback. You might want to go and take a look at the place and teachers to have a feel of the environment. If you believe in the Montessori philosophy then you may like that school for your child.
