Just to ask, when DC goes to Sec Sch, does the expenses generally increase or decrease? In terms of pocket money, tuition, school fees, CCA (if co-payable) etc.

Lol. My husband not tall enough. My brothers can't wear his pants. And my brother too big size for my husband shirts. My problem is that there are a number of pieces that hold special memories. I seldom shop, so almost every piece was a gift from husband or my mum. Even if I can't fit into them anymore. 😓

My brother is bigger size than hubby...sometimes if mum buys brother a shirt and the cut is smaller, hubby will take over. If I have a chance to shop, I will be overjoyed whether it is buying household stuff, for kids or hubby.

Wanted to do the same for kids but decided to do another day. No point getting myself tired doing all on one day.

My son's old tees will be handed to daughter for night wear. His other clothes will be brought to the poor in Philippines by an aunt. Daughter's clothes will be kept for niece...newer ones. Must control shopping for kids...they hardly have time to wear nice clothes now.

Sahms, recently my husband asked me "Actually, what do you do all day?" That question really annoyed me. What’s a good reply?

I remember how I dressed my daughter in nice clothes when she was in nursery…now, she wants to wear the most comfortable clothes after school…perfectly understandable. But I still cannot resist a nice tee when I go to Esprit or Bossini outlets.

Just stop what you do for 3 days then he will know what you do all day.

3 days?? Dun think they'll know the full extend over 3 days. Prob there'll be no cooking, no mopping/sweeping, no washing of toilets, no vacuuming/dusting, no ironing etc.

I have seen what hubby does when he is on leave .... Wake up send kids to Sch. Come back read newspaper, have leisure breakfast, surf net & take a nap, do some laundry. Then fetch kids, cook instant noodles for lunch. Afternoon nap. Bring kids out for a short jog, eat out/pack dinner. Night watch tv together. End of day, 'your life so shiok. what's so difficult about being a housewife?' :nunchuk: :spank:

Imo, 1 week would be the minimum so that they can feel the mess & dirt & have to really get into the real work. 3 days still have clothes to wear, dirt hasn't built up, yet to get sick of outside food to start marketing, putting food on table, getting kids stuff washed for new Sch week etc etc etc. 😉
