Why not, if the kids are old enough? go for an overseas trip with som gal friends and be young again.

Most times if I think I am going to fall sick, I go easy on everything and take preventive measures. Extra water intake.. more fruits.. make effort to sleep early and no/less surfing :razz: .. pop lozenges.. etc

The clinic we go to sees everyone in our family and even our parents. Even the locums know us too. There was once I fainted in the bathroom due to some imbalance thingy (which later was diagnosed as anaemia) the doc literally told hubs off.. Cos the doctor.. he asked me if i needed mc.. i said i don't need one as i am a stay home mom and wife.. hubs was busy attending to calls and sms-es while he was asking.. Both of us turned to hubs.. then i said.. nope, can't take that mc even if i need it now.. hubs gotta work.. just prescribe me the medz and i'll be off because i need to get back to my kids.

Doctor held up his hand to gesture me to wait a moment.

The minute hubs was finally off his phone, doc told him.. \"I'm going to give your wife an mc. Two days in fact if i can have it my way.\"

Hubs : She's no longer working.

Doc : Yes, I understand that from her already. But she needs a good rest. So I am giving her mc off house duties of any kind. But here she is having to worry about quickly going back to the kids and you having to go to work.

Hubs : I have no choice. I can't get off from my duties today as I really have a lot of work.

Doc : She has no choice too. She has to rest. C'mon how often does your missus fall sick ... sick enough to come see me? She needs to rest and that's that. You settle your work with your boss.

Hubs : I really can't.

Doc : I'm not asking you. I'm telling you. If anything untoward happens to her, it's your responsibility. Seriously 365 days minding the kids and the house apart from being the background support to this work you do... She not only needs this. It's being owed to her. She needs a break from the routine. I will only release her from the clinic once you settle your work things. I can wait. You need to give me your word that she gets full bed rest. No interruption from you or the children.

As long as you are giving stuff away at no cost, either can meet the peeps at your convenience or if you can drop them off or whatever arrangement is also okay. I've given away very good condition bed frames and sliding wardrobes with the interested parties arranging their own transport. Saved me disposal fees when I needed to vacate our place for the new owner to move in. Win-win situation.

Errrmmmm. Sometimes leaves are saved for other purposes.
Am joining my parents & my mom's siblings to Genting. My mom & her siblings going off from there to visit her other relatives......so I tagged along to accompany my dad back.....so I'm just moving from one family to another.
