No best friends, only good play friends. From other class also have.

Disagreement also have-but next day, back to play with them.
Funny stuff happening. One time was all his pencil leads he broke to give friend. One time, he dismantle his green and red pen as he was bored in class and waiting for others to finish their work but couldn’t fix them back. Then, stationery start getting missing, now every piece of pencil I also label. Then forget to bring file home. Everyday recess eat chicken rice.
No homework so far. Pretty carefree. I like him to talk about his day but he needs a lot of probing to share.like how he found money and bring to general office.
So far, two topical math test, a show and tell and reading test.

          updates from mine…

He has cut down on buying food from the canteen…mostly cos his fav food is not avail in the canteen or not enfg time for him to buy/eat.
His best frd is still his Kindy friend who is in another class. I asked him what did he does since he din not hv anything to buy/eat aft munching the bread I packed for him…he said he went looking for all Kindy friends (in other classes) in the canteen and chat with them.
He had gone thru’ a Maths and Chinese written mini test (unit review). Preparing for his chinese show and tell, but I din this chinese thingy is v difficult for him, he probably end up speaking in English. Went for a field trip to Perankan Museum…disappointing for him as he cant find "dino" in the museum.:<
At times, he has a few worksheets to work on…at times, he din have.

          Hi Jedamum
Not only I labelled pencils with his name, I labelled all his colour pencils, poster paints, rag (for art), old T (for art) … So far, lost an eraser, took back someone eraser and he claimed someone insisted that was his eraser. So, I wrote his name on the eraser instead of writing on the paper attached to the eraser. Used up almost a box of 12 pencils as he likes to sharp his pencils…

                Hi Dino mummy,

I didn’t think must label all pencils. Now I know better. Colour pencils I didn’t label individually. Maybe wait till he lose them then I start labelling. Hee hee.

                Hi reiner
My boy won’t go bookshop. Too busy playijg catching every time.
But haiz, his friend will coax him to buy stuff. He even let his friendcount his money! But not enough money, so didn’t buy.
He started cca last week. One of the core reason why I chose this school is cca available to p1s. He enjoys himself very much. The kids need to change out of their training attire after training, so far so good as I trained my boy since preschool to dress himself. He also dress himself now when prepare for school. He said he taught his friends how to button shirt the other day.
Only concern is hydration as he sweat a lot. Started giving him isotonic drink after his cca.

                  Hi Reiner,

My dd also has the same problem of leaving her text books behind. Her bag is not heavy as her school keep most of the exercise books and workbooks. She just simply forget to bring them back.

I sit down with her and we brain storm of a list of 3 ideas how she can improve on this area. We started off to implement our first idea and it failed. We followed by implementing the second idea and she has shown improvement until now.

You might want to sit down with your dd to see how to help her reduce the weight. Is the extra weight coming from the bag? or unnecessary items in the bag?

Actually, it doesn't not sound heavy to me. Is the bag heavy?

When I buy bag for my dd last year, I noticed some bag's weight is rather heavy when it's empty.

It's really not easy to be a mum in this era. 🙂
