My new arrangement begins today…from 4 dishes to 3 dishes 1 soup.

Son can eat rice with soup…very much easier to cook for him than for my daughter.

Great tips vinegar! Thanks! As my kids love soup... I usually boil it in morning put into thermal pot den head off to wrk... Come him jus heat it up...

Do you get sick of drinking soup with rice daily? Coz for me I will, hence resorted to order tingkat.

Not really.. As I will have 1 or 2 other dishes as well.. 😉

And there are so many soups to cook.. so its quite ok actually..

I am sensitive to MSG...fortunately I have not been drinking water like crazy since starting tingkat.

Yes, any food which consumes everyday, without variety will certainly get sick of....
hence, i dont boil soup daily....

Drinking soup helps to keep young.
There are different kinds of soup to make.
Even preparing corn soup using chicken or pork ribs can be different taste.
5 different soup everyday...repeat cycle the next week. Weekends NO soup.
Weekends, we eat unhealthy...like Indian Rojak, roti John occasionally [/quote]U mean repeat the same 5 diff soup for the following wk, so \"systematic\"..... 😉
I dont really plan my soup menu.....depends on the availiability of ingreds at supermarket or
at the spur of moment, what soup comes to mind.... :please:

Then it's better to look for a caterer which specify \"no MSG\"

That man was brought up eating food laden with MSG, oil, sugar and salt. What to do, his mother's perfect recipe of good food.

So I was rather apprehensive starting tingkat at first. But strangely I do not feel thirsty after eating.

Surprising.....usually old folks dont like to use MSG for home cooking...
Often heard that they prefer using natural ingredients to bring out the taste.

For tingkat dinner, best (if they do offer) go for the 5 day trials instead of the usual 20 days cycle.....
Trial out period....to see if they have added too much MSG to the food...

The older generation like his mother and my grandmother do not know how to cook without MSG. Their soups are oily and salty.

The sharks fin melon soup today passed kids' test. Looks like this is a wise choice to change to soup instead :xedfingers:
