they actually have their own chinese textbook so now they start on this. Later in the next half year, they will start 1B and then start the next 1B of their own text book ๐Ÿ˜“

Like to check if anyone here know where i can find good tuition centre for Han Yu Pin Yin , hopefully can recommend me somewhere in the east : tampines, perhaps? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Currently DS is taking up lesson from Berries but i am dropping him out as found not much benefit for DS. Plus he has too much homework everyday that we just didn't have time to revise the berries textbook.
Hi crystalbelle, why is Berries not much benefit for your DS? Is it because his school syllabus is way ahead? My DD also attends and enjoys Berries classes. I find her HYPY standard is quite good, like she can get mostly all correct the first time when we test her for her weekly ๅฌๅ†™ (currently all HYPY). Her k2 Chinese teacher also laid a good foundation for them in HYPY.

DS did not attend or learn any HYPY during his k2. So that why i am looking for tuition centre that is more focused on HYPY.

                        Crystalbelle,

Personally, i find there's not a need coz if not wrong after tis HYPY test in mar, they will b drill ALL d way in Yunyu.. Which actually for my DS case oredi started. :yikes: every fri coming back hm wif instruction to ่ฎค็”Ÿๅญ—! 68 characters!!!! :yikes: :yikes: if u r really concern mayb can drill DS everynite wif few HYPY. I do afree tat berries is not enuf to help them out in Yunyu.even d berries instructor agreed. Bt i find back in sch oredi so muc empathise (mayb dry) so am continuing for DS to cultivate so fun & interest.
Tats is also d primary reason y i didnt chose TienHesin, wh r mre acamdemic.

Well as u know, diff kids diff strokes, got to boils dwn to wat u n d kiddo really needs.
                        Just my few cents... :heresmyfish:
