        Hi,

Just to check do you pass the money to your gal or make payment personally during recess time to the vendor?

And also the reason for signing up? I am keen to sign up for my gal but my husband said that she will not like it coz she’s shy and her interest is not there. I hope she will build up confidence and learn to speak up through the course but my husband don’t think so. Haiz!!

we are non-Chinese speakers, so I take all the opportunities for my dd to learn Chinese. I was told that learning a language is by listening/hearing first then speaking second and the writing comes last…It seems it is quiet true, my daughter’s spelling (writing) is very poor as her listening/hearing and speaking ability is also not very good…

Speech & Drama would give her that opportunity. I know it wont be as interesting for her (she loves Math, English, Music, Art and PAL) but in life we often dont get to choose what we like all the time… we have to learn to be disciplined to do at least the minimum for the things we dont like…that way we become more balanced…

I also believe that interest comes with the skills… if they learn the skill they will be more interested…

I still have to figure out how to sign-up and pay, I frequently go to the school anyway as its only 2 bus stops away from home, so Id probably pay in person and handover the form to the GEneral Office as well.

            Hihi,

I passed the chq to my gal n ask her to make payment herself. She told me parents r allowed to go to sch during recess to make payments.
I think tmr is the last day for registration.

Our DD says that the FT told the class if they can't find the vendor, they can pass the registration and money to the FT.

We are signing up our DD as she as expressed interest in it. If she is interested, I usually will let her because I don't want to kill her interest.
I was worried she would be too tired, don't know how to buy lunch, etc, but she told me to just give her extra money to buy lunch. My dd is also very shy. Since this will help her be more independent, I'm all for it. Plus, I think workload in P1 still manageable. Good time to ease her into such after school \"enrichment\". 🙂

My gal at first don’t show any interest but her peers influence her yesterday. So no choice fill in the form and pass her a chq last evening. She will register herself today.

I think goto check if the canteen open after sch cos I saw a lot of parents n helpers bringing packed food to the gals who are having cca or remedia after sch.
