Anyone encounter bugs or Sand flies issues ?

My elder daughter encountered this last year and leaving unsightly scars with her. She suffered from Sand flies bites everytime during school re-opens and wounds will heal and recover during school holiday but the cycle starts again once school re-open.

I only discovered this in Term 2 last year. So feedback everytime when school re-opens. School check and advise that it's Sandflies.

But now my younger daughter also suffer from bugs bites and every week return with new one. This time i took pictures of all bites and feedback to school. I tried all cream and spray repellent all over her uniform, bags and shoes and still no use.
But i don't understand why Sand flies will appear at school ?? Thought it usually is present near sea side :? ??????????

Hi - my daughter suffers the same plight ;-( The bugs have left very ugly scars on her legs. More importantly, the itch hinders her concentration in class.

I called the school office and they said my daughter was the only one who had the bug bites?!?

Now I put mosquito repellent patch on her dress everyday and it has helped her. On days when we forget, she will suffer the bites.

They also tell me that when i first call to feedback in Jan 12. Don't call but write in officially to their Operation Manager and Teacher.

I started to write everytime to put into record and also started to take picture of the scare when it recur especially the first two weeks when the school re-open.

Now, my younger girl also there too and she also a victim but this time not at classroom. But the school has taken action so now don't see anymore new bites coming home.

I truly undersand the their misery and the scars will not go away unless we use scar treatment oil or gel.

Hi all. Am new in this forum and wondering if any parents out here planning to register their daughters in SMPS for P1.

Can I also please ask parents with your daughter(s) currently in SMPS if the new P has really shifted the focus thereby placing more emphasis towards academic excellence over character development that SMPS has been known for?

                Many thanks πŸ™‚
