I tried out one compre qn that ds got wrong. Guess what? I got it wrong too. *paiseh* Didn't notice the subtlety in the passage until I saw the model answer.

I hope this Sat's PTC, all parents will \"zhi-tong\" and keep to the allocated 10 min. Last yr, the couple before me took 30 min and I nearly gave up and left. In the end, the couple apologized for overrunning the clock which at least made me feel better. Still, if I have 2 groups of parents taking 30 min each in front of me, then I die liao.

I usually take the pm slot. Lesser pple by the n don't have to wait too long.

Hehe, i usually just get the teachers to call me, then i can ask all i want.. Will b gg tomoro tho, wan to see the teachers for myself.. some weeks back ds2 told me the children made the teacher cry!! Was thinkin to go see if my boy was one of them!

So bad hur? No wonder my SIL is determined to leave the service once her bond ends. Some pupils (and their parents) not easy to handle.

Great to hear that. let's wait for my son's update today. it is strange that even OAS can have such mistakes??

So after checking with the teacher, it is found out that my son is the one who marked the paper wrongly when going thru the questions in class. He mixed up the answers. :mad:
My apologies for this non-issue after all.

Hi parents, understand fm ds (p3) that we need to buy Chinese digital dictionary, any recommendation? I read in some other threads sometime back regarding comparison betw Creative and Besta…just want to know what some of u buy for ur dc…seems like chi T say any brand will do.

1. My elder boy does not all boy's school- too rowdy
2. My elder boy does not like long distance travelling - waste time
3. My elder boy has a weak body constitution (then, of course)
4. We thought NJC no need to study Higher Chinese
5. I rather he be a big fish in a small pond
6. I was from NJC
7. I did not like the other 2 schools :rotflmao:

Whichever brand, must make sure it is PSLE approved. Can check out seab website for the approved list.

My elder boy had Besta and Creative older models. He prefers Creative, says more user friendly than Besta.

My younger boy has only Besta.

I prefer the hard copy types.
