We have already rec'd a letter that supplementary classes will start in Term 2 . Total 4 hours, including hmt. :faint:

We are all here to share and encourage with one another as we move together with our child(ren) towards the PSLE 2014! The road is a little tough; a little stressful and many a times it is very tiring... But nevertheless, let's cheer on :rahrah: :rahrah: and sail this journey together! :grphug:

Though my son has no CA1 this year. Teachers gave then past years to practise. Is it normal to get below 10 marks out of 20 for english comprehension? It is PSLE standard and i dont know why got so low. So angry.

I attended my DD PTM and was told that in most of the kids did not do well for their comprehension.

Reason: questions are more difficult and in depth. The child is required to infer and provide answers. :stompfeet:

To make matter worse, marking is per PSLE standard - super strict.even if your child's answer is correct but any mistake on tenses and grammar, there will be no marks allocated.

Guess only mature kids will score well. Don't think, my boy is mature enough.
