Do you mean in cases when the parents are late for their time-slot and you are early?

Maybe. It could be unfair to parents who are on time to have to wait for a tardy one. Because I had to go for ds1’s ptm, when I went to ds2 classroom (supposed to have 10 spare min to wait), another parent had been waiting for a while, not sure what time is their slot. Felt a bit paiseh yet quietly thankful his name was called right on time.

But then no system is perfect and I think they are doing a good job. So kudos to the school this round.

I wonder if that parent was facing the same problem as me. Last year, dd1 had a different tr for each main subjects. I had no problem with meeting her FT and CO-FT. But I had to forgo meeting her maths tr becos the wait was too long. Her maths tr was the FT/CO-FT of another class. So even though I was earlier than the other parents, they had priority. For both PTMs, I gave up waiting and emailed her.

The maths tr was very prompt in calling me to feedback on dd1's work.

I wonder for kids who have different trs for the 3 core subjects this year, are they able to book additional slots?

Got such case? Diiferent tr for ALL 3 core? Wow…I dont envy the stats. But then I wonder how ds1 tr can cope with eng maths AND science plus the others. A bit stretch no?

Yup, that's what happened to DD1 last yr.

LOL I should rephrase 3/4 core subjects becos P3 onwards have science heehee.

I much prefer MOE allocate subjects to trs according to their strengths. But don't think it's feasible.
