I prefer physical to paper silver for its numismatic value. They are more expensive than paper silver. During the craze one-two years ago, I snapped up common silver coins at $80/oz. The news predict that it is going to reach as high as gold price. Now I can get better ones at around $42/oz.
Where do you store the copper? -

If you are trading on margin and is bearish on silver, can always short it.. tio bor...
P.S. I must confess that I'm an abject failure at this kind of fast pace trading. The trading always play tricks in my mind..... -

They just found a huge reserve of copper in Mongolia that can supply 1/3 of world's demand. Would it cause the price to drop?

No confident....of either way! Especially if trading on spot trade...
Don't like to start anything that I am not good at.
Why this ah pek got up so early on a Saturday morning? :scratchhead: Counting your cash piles hidden under bed? Or polishing diamonds? :scratchhead: -
Aunty
Hope that your copper trades are profitable. Ah pek only dare to buy shares in small copper mining companies hoping to make a bit of pocket money…Ah pek also sleeps very little. Maybe it’s gotta do with my age?

The relationship is not so direct lah… First of all, a mine has to be built first. E.g. The Oyu Tolgoi mine was discovered in 2001. It is scheduled to start production this year. Even if production starts, might encounter teething problems… -

Ah pek's good analysis :salute: -
Correction. Oyu Tolgoi deposit was discovered in 2001.
If ah pek somehow save up enough dough to buy a Ferrari, will invite Aunty for a spin, OK?

Old men better don't drive Ferrari, that irks the onlookers yuppies to no end
It's much more comfy in the RR than in a noisy turbo. Plus you get to surf/read/chat while being driven...and the best part, no need to find/fight for parking space. :boogie:
PS. I am waiting.... for the ride. Err... can I take over the driving?
