I thought the Chinese camp is optional?
My ds2 did not want to attend the Chinese camp last time.

My dd attended the art camp which is complusory so skipped the chinese camp.

Looks like sch holidays like no holidays liddat. Still need to go sch 3 days this week for ds.[/quote]Yeah, when I sent my ds1 to school this morning, it seemed to be \"school as usual\" for many kids there.
There is a media literacy program for P4 this week which my ds2 also does not want to join. he wants his 1 week break. 😂

Mine did not say anything until I asked him. Did not say much about it too except that they did receive some pointers and acronyms to remember. They also did some practice in small groups.

DS thoroughly enjoyed the chinese cultural camp for P3…i really hope the sch can do more of such "edutainment"…ie education-cum-entertainment…make learning exciting and fun! not just for chi…can be science, maths…

He was excited abt his 手偶,as seems like got picked for some moe exhibition…was really happy it was enriching and entertaining for him…

I guess that's what those camps were for ... to inbue an affection for the Chinese language and culture. Mine enjoyed it too, playing with his mask, hand puppet and all. He said he was given too much food during the 2 days, like 1 meal & 3 snacks a day. 😂

Quick, strike while the iron is hot; get him some Chinese books to read for the rest of the holidays.
