Here is another regular visitor, this one comes in the wee morning. There are 3 of these in this area. A noisy bird ๐Ÿ˜‚

I think it is a hornbill

Goodness! You're home to a regular bird park. I've never seen a hornbill in the wild. Only at the Jurong Birdpark.

That's a truly lovely thing you did!

That little bird owe's you and your family its life.
Is it still with you? Given its condition, it may no longer be able to survive on its own in the wild.
When we sent it to Jurong Birdpark, we signed a document to disclaim onwership

We have another visitor this morning. Perching at the railing for more than 30 mins now and it is still there as I am typing this post. Did not mind me at all even though I was standing at the balcony (which is slightly more than a metre away from it). Its feathers are all fluffed up, maybe sun tanning itself.

This bird is very cute looking when fluffed up. I do not know its name.

This bird is still perching here. I wonder if it is sick?

Maybe it is hoping to get on the covers of the National Geographic. You have excellent photographic skills, Jennifer.

Jennifer, your plants seem to grow, flower and fruit very fast.

Tomatoes are not east as they invite pests. I gave up on chilli as mine keeps getting infested with white flies. Now I have passion fruit that has not flowered at all after more than 1 year. And the only ones growing really well are my pandan and curry leaves.

Initially the tomato plants had small little white pests (like scales) on the leaves and stems. I pinched these off whenever I see them. Then these pests went on to the chilli plants and left the tomato plant alone. 2 days ago, I saw them on my turnip plant. These few days, did not see any of them around. Weird. I just topped up the soil 2 days ago. The last time I fed these plants fertilizers was end of Jan.

The plants are placed at the balcony - enjoys full sunlight in the morning and shade in the afternoon becos our balcony is direct east facing. I guess this helps a lot.
