          buds:

Remember that 2 thirds of butter left from making the butter rice that i mentioned earlier? Well, use that to massage your fish together with olive oil and this powderfully packed spices - Mc Cormick Grill Mates Spicy Montreal Steak.

My first thought - a whole block of butter for this combo?

Cant do for me- super fast to see extra trimmings on my body if I am to eat so much butter. The recent CNY I ate a bottle of pineapple tart. Hubby came back from overseas and said I looked different šŸ˜“

Buds, do you have a low fat version :please: ?

          Err use low fat butter?

Actually eat everything in moderation is ok lar. Plus the butter was to make a full pot of rice, bake two big fish and also the veggies. We don't eat this dish everyday right? Neither do we finish the whole fish per person. One big fish is shared by all of us. One for lunch. One more fish baked later for dinner since still got more rice.

Butter usage really on personal preference gauge. No hard and fuss rule. There's always flexibility in cooking and everything else we do. šŸ˜‰ Don't sweat the little things. šŸ†’

Buds, I am not a rice or carbo person and DH has been trying to lose weight lately so, no rice for the adults. Just those crabs and vege. For the kids, they have rice with the butter crab. There was some butter crab & sauce left over, so the following day, I deshelled the crab and tossed in some boiled pasta and that was lunch for the kids.

Jennifer, there was a Japanese food fare at Jurong Point last week. Song Fish was selling their frozen seafood at that fare. Bought the crabs from them. I believe you can order from them online and they deliver as well. They are not cheap. Going at about $48/kg from Song Fish. NTUC Finest sells them as well, not sure how much though. That amount you see in my pic is about 2kg. Once in a while ok.

Chief, the crabs are super yummy, the meat comes off in chunks and tastes of ocean freshness, sweet and salty. Full of flavour.

I have 2 more kg in my freezer.

Does the above declaration constitute an invitation to your place for CRAB fest? šŸ˜‰

If you are one of my staff you would have gotten 1kg last week. Haha. I bought them each 1kg.

If you can make your way to my home this weekend you are welcome to partake in our mini crab fest. šŸ˜‰

Of course. They come frozen. You can thaw and eat them cold.
