Purple colour is the last book of MPM, the P5 or P6 students will attempt.

Who says MPM stops at P2? even the P6 kids still love MPM compare to normal maths tuition.

Must identify what kind of P6 students that can survive MPM till purple colour? they are those who have positive attitude, discipline, self-motivated, intelligent, hard-working, usually no siblings.

MPM fee expensive mah? don’t think so, look at the materials not photocopy one. And students working on their own materials no need to wait for other students. Some chinese tuition charge 2 hrs $120. Meaning $1 for 1 minute, imagine the teacher scolds one student, other students have to pause the lessons for few minutes. Go toilet also count by minutes.

Finish MPM can go home. Kids so happy.

I knew of a mummy who went to one of the centres in the east, wanting to sign up for MPM but was pushed to sign up for Jelic. Not knowing how to resist, she adhere to the recommendation. She now regreted signing up for the Jelic as her daughter do not like it and reluctant to go for the scheduled class. Her daughter felt that it’s too kiddy and wanting to do math worksheets. This mummy requested to change the programme after 2 lessons of Jelic but was rejected and asked to complete the 10-session before she is allowed to change. She was very upset and felt like being cheated and may consider changing to another centre for MPMmath.

Is this a practice in all centres?

After I knew of the mummy’s encounterment, I fear to approach to those centres with Jelic and MPMmath programmes so as to avoid being push to the non-preferred programme.

Just realise that the term fee for Jelic is for 10-session while the MPM fee paid is for 12-session. i.e. the fee per session is different. Could it be …

Jelic : 10-session per term @ $380, only 1 hr 15 min per session per week

                  (approx. $38/session)

                  MPM : 12-session per tern @ $440, 2 hr per week
                  (approx. $36.70/session)

Obviously, based on the the amount of time versus the price, any biz. person would strongly recommend J. and not M.

                    Hi,

Any of you have feedback for the Jurong West and Pioneer branch?

How are the teachers at these 2 branches?

                    Thank you in advance.

Not necessary 2 hrs. I saw some kids perhaps intelligent and discipline type, within one hr can even do 1 complete book and half complete. 2 hrs is just guidelines, depend on each centre.
Fee $440 is also depend on each centre. Those operated in CC or RC will charge on monthly basis as required by PA auditor.

How old is the kid? 4 years old still can do jelic. 5 years old can do MPM liao. Did that centre actually explain the diff between jelic and MPM or not.
