Morning Club 2002! :grphug:

Was at Popular Bookstore yesterday - alone πŸ˜‰ so gave me more time and \"freedom\" to browse thru books that is for myself :boogie: :boogie:

Saw the abovebook under the \"Parenting\" session and stood there to flip thru a few pages...Got \"hooked\" :rotflmao: and decided to buy the copy and went home reading...

It gives a good hindsight of what is PSLE and a few other funny meanings of it πŸ˜‚ - Please Stop Learning Extras....Parents Start Learning Eearly....
Thanks for sharing, will pop by Popular this week to browse through πŸ˜‰
My boy keeps on telling me that eng enrichment in united sq cost $80/lesson, doesnot really teach abt comprehension. I am not sure whether to withdraw and join another eng enrichment in Thomson Plaza/Simei point. Please feedback, is it true that the one in united sq doesnot emphasize a lot on comprehension?

Are u able to share the name of the enrichment school?

                    Hi octoberbaby,

Appreciate if you could share more on that too...

                    Thanks!
The other day, I walked to TLL and asked them the cost of lessons there. Its about $80 per lesson for English. Then I walked home and asked dd if she wanted to join her friends there for tuition. Nope, even if they do allow their students to borrow storybooks from their well stocked library, she said. So I told I would send her for tuition if she did badly for the mid-year exams.

7 weeks to SA1… i can foresee a drastic drop in dd’s SA1 results is unavoidable… now is all depend on how i manage my expectation and emotion…

Yes, SA1 - complete with zuowen and oral πŸ˜“ .
I wonder how much of a drop in results is considered \"normal\" and expected for P5. Anyone knows?
