U won't even know what will happen tomorrow. And why so pessimistic? Maybe he will be able to lead a normal life in adulthood. Our world is how we view it. And what's so poor thing of him to be born like this? At least he has all his limbs, he can see, he can read, he can run, he can hear, he can talk. There are so many more suffering out there on oxygen tanks.

In fact, u are very lucky already.

Some families raise their children only for them to die before them through accidents or illness. Be thankful that you still have your son with you. I've seen some severely autistic kids and when I look back at mine, I'm really thankful. At least mine is verbal and doesn't roll on the floor when he throws tantrum. Be grateful.

Aiyo, mine sometimes will sit on the floor n kick. Or he will cry out loud n jump n jump. Till now I haven’t found n effective way to curb his tantrums. How to let him know that he can shout or cry loudly in public? Any tips?

Have u tried teaching him another way when he want to show his anger and frustrations? This could be the only way he knows how. My son recently did the lying down and throwing his fists like crazy in e air when we were at home. I sent him straight to time out. I'm glad he understood when I explained to him that it is not appropriate to do that when he is angry. Instead he should talk it out if he is angry. I told him that even when daddy and mummy are angry, we don't do that. Instead we talk it out. I think he kind of understood. So crossing my fingers.

Thanks everyone for the advice but I have spoken to her parents and they apologise many times and thank me for my understanding. But it still didn’t solve the prob. Although hitting my gal was not intentional and stem from the fact that she lacks control, I can’t fault her either. Her parents has talked to her but I think it didn’t help because it happen again and again.


I have no prob with my child mixing with her it’s the hitting part that I am not comfortable with. I mean who would like their child to be hit in school all the time? Whether intentional or not.

I m getting my gal to try hang out with other friends beside her. I think that is the only way for now.
