haha… yes the culotte is very difficult to button. My daughter told me that some of her friends still need help to buttonup the culotte after one semester.

My daughter is telling me that it is difficult to button from the back & troublesome going to the toilet too - so I understand what you mean. I have cut the button hole alittle bigger and she is fine with it after that.

It's behind. I intend to replace the button with a hook. Easier for her to hook than to button from behind.

ha ha..that's what my son suggested! He said I should sew the button on the button hole to make it seem as though it's buttoned. (just to comply with the original design) Then sew a hook on the underside and use that instead. 😄

I think it's not necessary. If I'm not wrong, the girls wear their PE T-shirts untucked so no one can see the button anyway.

A fabulous new year to one and all ! :celebrate:

I was just browsing through RI's thread and read with great amusement, about the interesting assortment of teachers there.

Can any RGS girl or parent share their honest views about RGS teachers too ? Especially the Sec 1 teachers. Do they 'specialise' in teaching Sec 1 subjects only or is there a habit of following them up to Sec 2 ?

:thankyou: in advance for sharing !

                    Hi,

My daughter is currently schooling @ RGS. She is keen to pursue HMT or Chinese at ‘A’ level. However, we understand that this is not available at RIJC but at HCJC.

Appreciate any advice on this pls. Thanks.

As expected, my daughter is put in Class 13 (GEP class), 2009 PSLE top student QIU biqi is also put in class 13, she becomes my daughter’s classmate.

Are there 13 classes in total? How are the girls grouped - by PSLE t-score ? Kinldy share if you have the information. THANKS.
