My son joinned MPM math (Jurong East) since K2. He is in P4 this year.

MPM math covers MOE syllabus. It has help my son to understand the math concept very well which has help him layed his foundation. It also build his confidence and foster interest in math. Till now, he has never scored below 90 for his math. Thanks to the teachers in MPM math JE.

        Hi TiggrTigerTiggi,

Do you know what methods MPM use to teach for solving problem sum questions?

I agreed with your statement. They really drill the foundation which school does not cover enough.

Most importantly, I think the centre teaches play an important roles too!

The MPM teachers I encounter with are passionate in teaching. If you are staying in West side of Singapore, I would recommend Jurong East branch, u will definitely not regret placing your child with them.

Which centres cater for mental maths? Besides CMA. Thank you.

Thx TiggerTigerTiggi. But parents up there, do u think it is necessary for a P1 student to go for Abacus or Maths Enrichment ? Some told me P1 maths is still manageable so can leave it out, abacus can help to stimulate their brain faster, is that true ? Wat u guys think ?
