I tried the baked potato with cheese and broccoli at Wendy’s tonight.

Verdict: failed. I prefer deli potato in delifrance. Piping hot potato served with chicken and tuna mayo. Yummy!

          Thanks, Integer for the link!

Dinner for us tonight was ta bao honey glazed grilled chicken and jumbo sausages from cold storage. Wrapped it with butter head lettuce and wraps. Filling for kids were baked salmon. And can mushroom soup with added brown mushroom and enoki.
I was at Bt Timah NTUC this afternoon. They brou in more variety of ready to use soup - lower sodium version.

            guess what this is 😄

Pepper Pork slices with scrambled egg :xedfingers:

            :hi5: my guess too....

            Tio bo, Jennifer?[/quote]Correct for ingredients.

The pork is not sliced. I cut into small strips, then cut into cubes. More texture this way than minced style.

If you make dumplings, prepare the pork in this way yields more crunch than just using minced pork.

Thanks Jennifer. I will modify it slightly to suit DS. He prefers garlic with tomato and chicken version.

I used the leftover in today's lunch by adding radish kimchi and brinjal.

I also use this simple sauce to make lasagne and the sauce for Chinese 炸酱面 (thicken with cornflour)

Campbell soup... dipped bread slice in it.... Used to be my favourite supper  ... those were the days when I could afford to eat anything at anytime...

I just had my supper after my awful dinner.

Redondo - cappuccino cream wafers and a glass of warm milo.

So it wasn't as nice as it looked? http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php

I had the one with just sour cream and chives. Because it was like how we do when we have bbq, it was normal.. or just the usual kind of baked potato for me. I suppose i wanted to try their safest before i tried something else. :xedfingers:

:imsorry: it was awful for you with their broccoli and cheese.

Deli potato i oni tried the ones with croutons on top, no chicken or tuna mayo. The croutons (on top of the deli potato) that i initially thought were somewhat an acquired taste eventually went down ok after a couple of times.

On the website, the picture looked alright. When I saw the baked potato in Wendy's, it was a different story. The potato was in a mess. Mushy mushy topped with cheese and broccoli. It was too buttery for my liking. I wanted to try it for a long time so it wasn't your fault. I prefer to stick to my good old spicy chicken and nuggets on my regular visits to Wendy's. They never go wrong. Sometimes during dinner, DH and I had to wait for 20mins for them to fry the chicken. Hot and spicy. 😉 As for the potato last night, I had a few mouthfuls and just left the half eaten potato there. Couldn't bear to look at it.

I will be making a trip to delifrance soon. I miss their baked potato so much.
I'm a simple woman. Just one baked potato with my favourite tuna mayo or chicken mayo topping will make my day :rahrah:
