If a travel advisory is issued, likely you can get a refund on your tickets. Do check with your airline.


If you had booked a ticket where change of date is allowed, then you may consider postponing it. For myself, I had to postpone a trip due to illness and in that instance, there is no penalty for postponement of date (up to 12 months) but I subsequently paid an admin fee for change of destination (subject to refund/top-up as the case may be).
