I had a teacher who used to write with one hand on the blackboard, then switch to the other hand when the first one got tired. I would say it's a pretty handy ability.

Did I just say blackboard?!!! :yikes:

Thanks for sharing pirate.. .. šŸ˜„

It is fun to be able to speed read and read backwards as well, but terribly embarassing when you sit through a meal and your 'hands' kept swoping the cutleries.. ... :siao:

My DD can write with both hands but only when she needs to copy chinese phrases. She does it when her right hand gets too tired. This ability applies to using chopsticks. Her right hand is the more dominant and natural choice. When I first noticed it, and asked her how she could use the left hand, she said just practice.

.. ..Thanks Mawar, so indeed mixed handedness can be trained.
Better than ambi really.. Have to recap which hand to extend out before a handshake, remember to tilt face the right side for hello kiss.. :faint:

I am curious if fluent 'mirror image' writing can be trained or one really need to be ambi..
It took years to decide which is the 'watch' wrist, and booboo of checking time on the wrong wrist.. ...
