Er... I can type with both hands. Does that count?

-
I can write fluent mirror image. Very handy for impressing little boys who are into mirror image coded sentences. I trained when having mother tongue language lessons in secondary school.

-
I am actually more left-handed…but mum made me write with right hand. Subconsciously I will use my left hand first…still brush my teeth with my left hand…only use right hand when holding chopsticks and pen.

I'm sure your left pinkie comes in useful everyday too....mine does!!

i am right handed, but brush my teeth with my left hand. started doing this years ago, when i noticed that my right hand was stronger than my left, as I played badminton. Discovered it when I tried to wear my watch on my right hand and realised that it was tighter than when i wore it on my left…
had tried to write with my left hand too, but CMI… -

Hmm. Maybe that's the reason my DD confuses between spoon & fork and fork & knife. Sometimes I catch her glancing at my hands and changes her cutlery. I thought she could use either hand quite well because of her years of practicing the piano.Mawar:
My DD can write with both hands but only when she needs to copy chinese phrases. She does it when her right hand gets too tired. This ability applies to using chopsticks. Her right hand is the more dominant and natural choice. When I first noticed it, and asked her how she could use the left hand, she said just practice.
.. ..Thanks Mawar, so indeed mixed handedness can be trained.
Better than ambi really.. Have to recap which hand to extend out before a handshake, remember to tilt face the right side for hello kiss.. :faint: -

Tilt face the right side for hello kiss - is that something common? Only with angmohs? Everytime one meets them? -
My youngest is still undecided on his dominant hand - he is in K1 now. At school, most of the time he will use his right hand as he copies his friends and the teacher but when he is doing colouring at home he will swap hands. He will often colour the right side of the paper with his right hand and the left with his left hand. Yesterday at Sunday School I caught him colouring with both hands at the same time!
His brother started off similar but has now settled on his right hand and seems to have lost his ability to write with the left hand. -
i know of a friend who broke his right arm so he started to write with his left arm. behaviour-wise he is not the mainstream sort.
about tilting head to kiss, it’s really dependent on where the other party is from. some people kiss one side, some kiss both sides. -
oh my! gives new meaning to \"a handful\" doesn't it
