      vinegar:
      jennifer,

how to choose Pork belly?I hv not tried to cook any pork belly b4.Did u slice the Pork belly after cooked?
I tell the butcher it is for braising n not too fatty please πŸ˜„

I cooked it as a whole slab. Then slice for serving.

One thing about pork, I find some stalls selling the \"older\" pigs which hv a strong smell which I cant stand.

I usu. buy from a pork stall at Empress Place that sells only small pigs or from an uncle running a stall (next to a fish stall) at Bt Timah mkt.

I buy prata...cook an egg to eat with. Usually buy Spring home brand. Thanks for the suggestion...headache what to cook sometimes. Use non stick pan and fry on low fire. No need to put oil.

I was at JCube Cold Storage - so many instant prata brands.

Janet, what makes you choose Spring?

Prata also taste good with a thin layer of honey. Another favourite will be instead of sugar, sprinkle milo powder. Milo flavoured prata!

Spreading a thin layer of laughing cow cream cheese is nice too.

I went to Taka this morning.

              purchases:
              1. ceramic titanium roasting pan (small size) with metal rack, 35% discount
              2. bundle grill pan (square 27cm x 27cm) + saucepot (small size), both are induction ceramic titanium

              slightly > $400 in total

If hubby has gone with me, surely cant buy the above πŸ˜‚

The roasting pan I saw in the newspaper advert is presently out of stock. new stock coming in this afternoon only.

              .

With $3-digit pans, even fried eggs will be tastier!!

I had my favourite dinner - breakfast! Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on ciabatta, hash brown, baked beans. I’m a sucker for breakfast food.
